Focus on what you want…

The law of attraction says what we think, whether conscious or subconscious, directly effects our actions which dictate our results.  That is why our focus should be on what we want rather that what we don’t want.  What we think becomes reality, whether we want it or not.  Bottom line, there is no way to avoid it.

Did you ever notice that really annoying thing that your spouse or significant other does that just does not go away?  You see it; you think about it, you talk about it.  Maybe even complain about it.  You just wish it would stop!!  How much time do you spend thinking about it and pouring energy into it?  How often do you think, “I wish it would just stop?” Sound familiar?

What we think defines our outcomes.

Imagine what your relationship would be like if you poured that much energy into all of the great things he/she does?  How do you think it would change the way you speak to your significant other or the way you treat him/her?  What would the dynamic be between you?  Do you think he/she would do it more often to please you?  Over the next few days, give it a try.

Focus your thoughts and energies on being grateful for who your significant other is and disregard the “negatives”.  Let them know.  Be more vocal about your gratitude than you ever were about those less than desirable things.

Through no fault of our own, we were all raised with some sort of limiting beliefs.  It is that little voice in the back of your head that says you can’t do that or you are not good enough.  GET RID OF IT!! This type of thinking is destructive and counterproductive.   I know, easier said than done.  Here is something you can try.  Replace those limiting beliefs with empowering positive thoughts with statement like:

“I am a successful business owner.  I work part time and every day I help people discover their passion and live their dream.  This allows me to earn a multiple six figure income, and spend time with my family.  I am grateful to have found a fulfilling path in life.  I know I can do anything I set my mind to do.”

Find a simple yet powerful statement that brings you into an empowering state.  Write it down, memorize it and carry it with you where ever you go.  Say it to yourself when ever that limiting thought creeps up.  A slight change in your thoughts can have a truly powerful effect.  What you think is directly related to your results. Focusing on empowering thoughts leads to more anabolic energy and more positive outcomes.
